Food brings people together. Don’t let it split you apart!

When splitting the bill at a restaurant, usually the biggest mathematician takes a stab at calculating the total and tip and then splitting the bill either by person’s order or evenly amongst the group. Sometimes if two people shared a dish, someone fronts the whole dish. It’s complicated, it’s messy, and usually, someone gets overcharged. Let’s make it quick easy and fair.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The host can take a picture of the receipt. The app will image recognize and parse the line terms into individual food and drink items. Once the receipt has been transcribed, the Host can assign items to party guests. There are two ways in which the host can assign menu orders; evenly split the total bill across the party or split the bill per guest. In the event, that two guests have shared a dish, the host can split the menu item across the two guests. Cheers to that order of Mozzarella sticks, mate!

In both Even or Split scenario, the Host determines the tip percentage and the tip is evenly split amongst the party unless specified otherwise.

Guests will receive a notification detailing their split. Guests can pay through the app or connect other payment options like PayPal, Venmo, or Apple Pay.

LET’S MAKE HAPPY HOUR HAPPY AGAIN

The host can keep track of which guest has paid their split and send a reminder ping until the split has been paid. This way everyone can part and go their silly ways at the end of the night but still be able to settle the next day.
